My mom's SVC phone came with double minutes for life, so the 60 minutes($20 card) equated to 120 minutes, divide by 3, is 40 minutes per month. What I decided after a couple of months though, was to rather get her a year's service, for $100, giving her 800 minutes, working out to just over $8 for 66 minutes/month. And we don't have to recharge every 3 months now. You won't find any of the other senior designed phones allowing you to spend so little monthly for enough minutes for the your average senior user, who doesn't call a lot.HappyDayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06449671139526397733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993629986217112095.post-88353394275299678162011-07-07T19:28:55.553-07:002011-07-07T19:28:55.553-07:00You ALL keep saying it's only $7 per month but...You ALL keep saying it's only $7 per month but NO ONE mentions how many minutes are included in the $7 pr month deal. Do you need to be a certain age to use this plan? My cousin is mentally handicapped, but still quite functional in many ways. We are trying to increase her responsibility and rehabilitate her to some degree, and so a phone that has easy menu navigation and 911 assistance would be so welcome. We also don't want to be tied to a contract or have open end minutes for obvious reasons! This SVC plan sounded like it met all the above requirements and I just wondered if there were restrictions on age. Thank you for all the info so far!Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06760648546241108912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993629986217112095.post-80890011601446451922011-02-25T16:42:06.520-08:002011-02-25T16:42:06.520-08:00Can't say enough of this phone the Tracfone SV...Can't say enough of this phone the Tracfone SVC! Tracfone ...Under $15 for a phone really is amazing. Tracfone really has made provision for seniors in a very special way with this deal. SVC phones are specifically designed fro seniors with their large keys and hearing aid compatibility (but even if you don't need either of those features it is a great simple little phone). It is super cheap and you can spend as little as $20 over 3 months of you hardly call and more need to be reached at any time than actually make calls.
